| Melissa Cetola - 4th year with RNS&K. Melissa has a B.A. in English and Psychology from Denison University. She has a MA in Education from Marymount University. Melissa taught kindergarten at Early Steps Child Development Center in Arlington, VA for one year and then first grade for four years in Fairfax County Public School System. Melissa has 3 children and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and playing tennis.
Julie Miles - 6th year with RNS&K. Julie has her 90 hour Senior Staff certificate in Early Childhood Education. Julie has substituted and volunteered at school when her daughter Emily attended RNS&K. Julie managed a travel agency for 8 years before taking time off to spend with her daughter. Julie’s Barbara Kawamura - 6th year with RNS&K. Barbara has a B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland and she worked at IBM for 11 years before becoming mother to Danny and Thomas (RNS&K graduates), and guardian to Brenna and Devin. Barbara loves to travel and volunteer in her community. She is on the Board of Directors of the Mid Atlantic Federal Credit Union. Barbara has attained her 90 hour senior staff certificate in Early Childhood Education as well as her 120 hour CDA Certificate. Dana Fishbein - 14th year with RNS&K - Dana holds her BA from Hunter College where she majored in Anthropology and Education. She has an MA in Education from New York University. Dana also holds an AA degree in Interior Design from Montgomery College. Dana taught elementary school in New York, preschool in Tallahassee, FL and at The Hebrew Academy in Silver Spring. Dana was a Site Director at the Upper Montgomery County YMCA, preschool teacher, and led their Mommy & Me program. Dana's interests include antiquing, reading and traveling, and taking care of her grandchildren Dean, Natali and Taylor. Brenda Rodriguez - 4th year with RNS&K. Before working here, Brenda was a nanny for students that attended RNS&K. Brenda worked as a teacher’s aide for Perkiomen Valley School, in PA for 1-1/2 years. She also taught CCD classes at St Raphael Church. Brenda has two years of Pharmacy study from the National College of Business and Technology in Puerto Rico. She has one daughter in college and two sons in high school. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, as well as cooking, cleaning, organizing, reading and dancing. Jennifer Auroux - 2nd year at RNS&K. Jenn has been working with children as a nanny for the past 17 years. She has worked with children with ADD and ASD. Jenn has substituted and volunteered for the past 3 years while her daughter Marine was attending RNS&K. She has also been very active with the Parents Association over the past two years helping to organize our school boutique and other fund raising events. Jennifer enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 daughters Marine, Anne-Sophie and Amelie. Josephine Reale - 5th year with RNS&K, Josephine has a BA and MA in Early Childhood. She has earned her advanced teaching certification from the State of Maryland. She is a retired MCPS teacher. While with MCPS she taught Head Start, Kindergarten, and First grade. She enjoys spending time with her 4 grandsons. Two of her grandchildren are graduates of Rockville Nursery School. |
